A three-day artisan Christmas market in the grounds of Buckfast Abbey, the working Benedictine monastery on the edge of Dartmoor.

Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine monks near Buckfastleigh, holds a three-day Christmas market each November. Stalls of local artisans sell handmade gifts, festive homeware and seasonal food, with more stalls promised for 2026 than before.

There is live music throughout from local performers (in 2025 including the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Band and the Dart Valley Hand Bells), and food such as hog roast, mince pies and mulled wine, with extra seating in the conference centre. The abbey's restaurants and shops stay open, and the Abbey Church is open to visitors outside service times.

Entry and parking are free. In 2025 the South Devon Railway ran a shuttle bus to the market from around Totnes and Ashburton.
