A festive village on Parker's Piece in central Cambridge, with a chalet Christmas market and street food alongside an ice rink, big wheel, curling lanes and an alpine bar.

Christmas in Cambridge turns Parker's Piece, the big green next to the city centre, into a winter village for about seven weeks. The Christmas market part is a run of wooden chalets with independent traders selling gifts and stocking fillers, plus street food such as Yorkshire pudding wraps, sweet treats, hot chocolate and mulled wine.

Around it are bookable attractions: an open-air ice rink, a big wheel, curling lanes, a Christmas tree maze, dodgems, Santa visits, and the Alpine Lodge bar with an après-ski terrace. It stays open into the evening every day.

The site itself is free to enter; attractions are paid and popular slots (especially weekends) sell out, so booking ahead is advised. Bars and attractions are mainly cashless. There are toilets on site, including accessible ones. Dogs are welcome in outdoor areas but the organisers suggest leaving them at home as it gets busy.
