A seven-week street market of festive food and gift stalls along Reading's pedestrianised Broad Street.

Reading's Christmas market lines the pedestrianised Broad Street in the town centre from mid-November into the new year. It is mostly about food and drink: German bratwurst, toasted marshmallows, sugared doughnuts, crêpes, waffles, giant cookies, fudge, a cheese stall and a Christmas carvery, with Glühwein (and an alcohol-free mulled wine) and roasted chestnuts.

There are also stalls selling Christmas stockings, decorations and gifts. Entry is free, and the market sits among the town's main shopping streets.
