Armagh's festive artisan market, with over 100 stalls along the tree-lined Mall and city-centre streets on Georgian Day, the highlight of the city's Georgian Festival.

Each year the Armagh Georgian Festival turns the city back to the late 18th century with costumed characters, horse-and-carriage rides, music and talks. Its centrepiece is the Festive Artisan Market on Georgian Day, when more than 100 stalls line the city-centre streets and The Mall, the tree-lined park beside Armagh's Georgian terraces.

Stalls sell handmade crafts, seasonal gifts, beauty products, decorations and artisan food and drink, including locally produced ciders. There is a hot food area with outdoor seating, and Georgian performers, bands and street entertainment. Light shows project festive images onto the Market House in the evenings.

The market is free to visit. A smaller selection of stalls trades on the Friday evening and the Sunday afternoon in the Market Street area, with Santa's Grotto on the Sunday; Saturday is the main day.
