A six-week curated Christmas craft market of Northern Irish artists and makers, set out in the galleries of Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart.

Each winter Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart turns its ground-floor galleries into a Christmas craft market, curated from applications by Northern Ireland artists, makers and craftspeople. The 2025 maker guidelines said the layout fits over 35 makers, with a deliberate mix of crafts.

The centre's own staff run the tills, so makers don't usually staff their stalls - it's a calm, gallery-style place to browse handmade gifts rather than a bustling street market. Opening day is a launch with music, entertainment and the Naturally North Coast and Glens Artisan Market joining in; in 2025 that included hot food stalls outside, weather permitting.

The 2026 programme also includes a drop-in family decoration-making session and an evening Twilight Market with live music and alcohol-free mulled wine. The arts centre is normally closed on Sundays, so check opening days before travelling.
